T4 Desktop Order Entry Software

To trade your account you must learn T4 Desktop. It is professional order entry software and much better than any retail platform you have been using.

Be very aware that you are downloading the demo sim version and not the funded live version.

The funded live version will be downloaded and installed later. And yes, you must know the difference between the two versions and know it well. If you do not understand that, you could end up losing a lot of money by playing around on what you think is the demo sim version, when in fact you are logged into your account and clearing real trades with the funded live version instead. So know the difference right now, so that you do not learn all about it later, the hard way. One of our clients got confused and ended up losing $20,000 because he did not realize the difference in the two versions. Make sure now in advance, that it will never happen to you and that you fully understand the difference in the two versions. |

CST will give you your username and password for the Demo Sim Mode Version.
Do not call or email us. We cannot help you with your Demo Sim Mode. Only CTS can do that.
Your username and password for the Demo Sim Mode Version is not the same as your username and password for the Funded Live Mode Version.
If you have already been using T4
Demo Sim Mode:
Funded Live Mode and
Demo Sim Mode are
completely separate systems and installs.
But you can move your current
settings over to live! Just go to main properties window in you
Demo Sim Mode and
save your current settings to a file. Then login to your
Funded Live Mode and go
to the main properties window and load
your current settings file that you just
saved. Simple.
If you have not been using
T4 in Demo Sim Mode, (and you were suppose to be doing that remember) then
continue to follow the instructions
below:
Minimize the controls displayed on the
Contracts Window to get it to look more like J-Trader so you can
learn it faster
and with no distractions from the other bells and whistles.
There are two places to configure the ES and other Contracts Window in T4.
One is on the Main Properties and Contract windows from the CTS grey bar shown below.
This is the Main Properties Window.
This is the Contract properties window.
The other place is on the
ES Contracts
Window itself for Trading, Display, Accounts, and Ticket as
shown in the four
windows below.
The above configuration results in an ES Contract Window that looks like this.
You
may want to change the bid color from blue to green. That is old
school and what we use in Palm Beach.
Green is buy.
Red is
sell.
Click on the
Orange S first and then right click for a
stop order. Click on the Black M first and then right
click for
a market order.
Also on the
Main Properties Contract tab set Reset Order Type to Enable. Doing this,
you then only need to
click the S to set the stop order, since you do this
first. Once the stop order is placed, the order type will reset
back to
market. So just need to click to enter the market order. No need to
click M. Speeds things up and
makes it simpler.
A new version of T4 is
coming soon. With the new version, you will
right click for a stop order
and left click for a market order.
To replicate the Status Windows in J-Trader, just open two "Order Book" windows. Set one on the “Working”
tab and the other on “All” tab. It’s also useful to set
the Status Windows properties, also located in the Main
Window Properties shown
above on the Order Book tab to enable “Highlight Changes” and “Shade Finished”.
You can also use only one Order Book window if you like that better, and click
on the tabs to see what has been
filled and what is working.

Whether you use it or not.
The maximum fee is $500.00 and
capped. Which is very good.
Most are not capped and can get very expensive.
